Which staffing companies sponsor H-1B visas in Indiana?
National staffing firms with Indiana operations are among the more active H-1B sponsors in the state. Companies such as Allegis Group, Apex Group, TEKsystems, and Staffmark have filed Labor Condition Applications in Indiana. IT staffing and healthcare staffing firms tend to file more frequently than general labor staffing companies, reflecting the specialty occupation requirement that applies to H-1B petitions.
Which cities in Indiana have the most staffing H-1B sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the largest share of staffing H-1B sponsorship activity in Indiana, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, healthcare systems, and technology employers that use staffing firms. Fort Wayne and South Bend have smaller but active markets, particularly in manufacturing-adjacent technical staffing. Most remote-eligible staffing and recruiting roles posted by Indiana-based firms still list Indianapolis as the primary location.
What types of staffing roles typically qualify for H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship in staffing applies to specialty occupation roles, meaning positions that require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. In the staffing industry, this typically includes IT staffing consultants, technical recruiters with engineering backgrounds, workforce analytics specialists, and staffing operations roles requiring specialized business or HR degrees. General recruiter or account manager positions without a defined degree requirement rarely qualify.
How do I find staffing H-1B sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters staffing H-1B sponsorship jobs in Indiana by employer, role type, and sponsorship history. Rather than sorting through job postings that don't address visa sponsorship, Migrate Mate surfaces roles from companies that have an actual track record of filing H-1B petitions, which is especially useful in the staffing industry where sponsorship eligibility varies significantly by firm.
Are there Indiana-specific considerations for H-1B sponsorship in staffing?
Indiana does not impose state-level restrictions on H-1B employment, but staffing firms operating as third-party placers face additional USCIS scrutiny under the employer-employee relationship standard. The staffing company, not the end client, must be the petitioning employer and must demonstrate it controls the work. Indiana-based staffing firms that place workers at client sites need to structure their H-1B petitions carefully to satisfy this requirement.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B staffing jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
