Job Title: Process Operator / Wastewater Technician

Location: Pendleton, IN

Schedule: Full-Time | Hourly

Multiple shifts available:

• 1st Shift: Monday – Friday | 3:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday | 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Rotating weekend schedule required (1 day per weekend based on schedule)

What You'll Do: As a Process Operator / Wastewater Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining systems used to treat and process wastewater. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment runs efficiently and safely while maintaining quality and environmental standards.

This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to monitor and respond to system performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems, including filtration and processing equipment
• Maintain and support operation of the Superfilter and related systems
• Perform routine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues
• Monitor system readings (pH levels, flow rates, etc.) and respond to changes or abnormalities
• Track and record operational data accurately
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation processes (CIP) of equipment
• Support other production or plant operations as needed
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures

What We're Looking For:

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor systems and identify issues
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow processes and respond to changing conditions
• Comfortable working in a production or industrial environment

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience with wastewater treatment or industrial processing equipment
• Experience with pumps, valves, filtration systems, or similar equipment
• Familiarity with PLC or HMI systems
• Experience in manufacturing, processing, or plant operations

• Operating and monitoring equipment and systems throughout the shift
• Standing and moving for extended periods
• Working in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Exposure to noise, odors, and industrial conditions
• Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
