About The Team
DashMart is a local-fulfillment center owned and operated by DoorDash, offering customers household essentials and other items to their doorsteps with speed, reliability, and quality. Customers order their convenience, grocery, retail, and prepared foods in the DoorDash app, and our team members fulfill orders in a real, brick-and-mortar store for Dashers to deliver. We’re open early and close late - some sites even run 24/7!
About The Role
DashMart is looking for a motivated and experienced individual that excels in fast-paced, physical environments and is excited to roll up their sleeves and actively engage in day-to-day operations. In this role, you will work within a local fulfillment center supporting Site Management running great shifts, and delegating tasks. As a Shift Lead, you will have shift responsibility for fulfilling orders in a warehouse environment and maintaining inventory, and in some locations, this involves preparing food in a light-prep kitchen. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

- Delight Customers: Ensure customer orders are delivered with high quality by executing orders accurately, communicating with customers when issues arise, and making sure Dasher pickups go smoothly.
- Lead: Guide Operations Associates through their shift by ensuring the team works safely and productively and serving as the point of escalation for daily operations.
- One Team One Fight: Support operations in both the warehouse and kitchen, assist with day-to-day tasks, and lead by example. You will be expected to engage in professional and respectful interactions with team members and customers, ensuring a positive and safe atmosphere in the warehouse while providing a high-quality experience for our customers.
- Help improve operations: Contribute ideas to improve our quality and customer experience.
We’re excited about you because…
- You’re self-motivated, positive, and a team player. You work well with others, and you bring a great attitude to your work each and every day. You have high integrity and are excited to delight customers.
- You have a proven track record of success in food and beverage, warehouse, and/or retail environments.
- You’re able to be on your feet and move heavy products. You are excited and physically able (with or without accommodation) to lift up to 50 lbs., depending on the needs of the specific site, and can operate a pallet jack and hand truck.
- You have the ability and desire to obtain and maintain a food handling certificate. (DoorDash will provide this training)
- You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. A college diploma is even better but not required.
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You're organized and proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets.
- You have flexibility in your schedule. Depending upon the scheduling needs of the hiring site, you can be available for a number of different shifts a week.

Which food & beverage companies sponsor E-3 visas in Maryland?
Maryland employers with documented E-3 Labor Condition Application filings in food and beverage include large hotel and hospitality groups headquartered near Baltimore and the D.C. metro corridor, regional food distributors, and specialty food manufacturers operating in the Baltimore-Washington area. Reviewing OFLC disclosure data by employer name and occupation code gives the most accurate picture of which companies have actively filed for these roles.
Which cities in Maryland have the most food & beverage E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Baltimore concentrates the highest share of food and beverage E-3 opportunities in Maryland, driven by its hotel district, Inner Harbor hospitality venues, and food processing facilities. Rockville, Bethesda, and Silver Spring in Montgomery County also generate consistent demand, particularly from multi-unit restaurant operators and corporate food service companies serving the D.C. metro market. Annapolis sees seasonal demand tied to its waterfront dining sector.
What types of food & beverage roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship requires the position to meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning it must normally require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In food and beverage, qualifying roles most commonly include food scientists, quality assurance managers, food safety specialists, supply chain analysts, and corporate culinary directors with formal culinary or food science degrees. Front-of-house and general kitchen positions typically do not meet this standard.
How do I find food & beverage E-3 sponsorship jobs in Maryland?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for employers with verified E-3 Labor Condition Application filing history, so you can search food and beverage roles in Maryland without manually cross-referencing OFLC disclosure data. Filtering by industry and state surfaces companies that have already demonstrated willingness to sponsor E-3 workers, which saves time compared to applying broadly and discovering sponsorship eligibility late in the process.
Are there any Maryland-specific or industry-specific considerations for E-3 food & beverage sponsorship?
Maryland's proximity to federal agencies and research institutions means some food and beverage employers, particularly in food safety and regulatory affairs, may require security clearance eligibility or U.S. permanent residency, which E-3 holders do not have. Maryland also enforces its own wage and hour laws that employers must satisfy alongside the federal prevailing wage requirements embedded in the Labor Condition Application, so verifying that offered compensation meets both state and federal thresholds is important.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 food & beverage jobs in Maryland?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
