Which medical devices companies sponsor F-1 OPT visas in Massachusetts?
Several large and mid-size medical devices employers in Massachusetts have a documented history of hiring F-1 OPT workers, including Boston Scientific, Medtronic, Hologic, and Insulet Corporation. Which cities in Massachusetts have the most medical devices F-1 OPT sponsorship jobs?
Greater Boston, including Cambridge and the suburbs along Route 128, is the primary concentration point for medical devices employers in Massachusetts. What types of medical devices roles typically qualify for F-1 OPT sponsorship?
Roles that typically align with F-1 OPT authorization in medical devices include mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering for embedded or connected devices, regulatory affairs, quality systems, and manufacturing process engineering.
