- Helping define technical direction and contribute to process improvements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Experience:
- 10+ years of Java development experience with Java 8+ JDK and strong object-oriented programming skills
- Advanced experience designing, implementing, and enhancing large-scale Java applications
- Strong Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) experience
- Proficiency with SOAP services
- Strong SQL development skills
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to identify issues, participate in resolution efforts, and improve processes
- Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, including Dependency Injection (IOC), SOLID principles, and Spring Boot
- Experience developing REST web services and APIs, including API gateways, microservices, pub/sub, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with Kafka, ActiveMQ, or similar messaging platforms is a plus
- Comfortable working in Agile environments
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Nice to have:
- Cloud experience with Azure or AWS
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Kubernetes or OpenShift exposure
