Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will drive team performance, optimize restaurant efficiency, and foster a welcoming environment for both guests and staff. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your management skills in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting where passion for food and service excellence is celebrated. Easy work schedule after our opening (45-50 hours).
Duties
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and supervising team members to ensure smooth daily performance.
- Implement inventory control procedures to monitor stock levels, reduce waste, and manage food costs effectively.
- Utilize Toast POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant.
- Train and develop staff through ongoing coaching, conducting interviews for new hires, and fostering a positive team environment.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to guarantee a memorable dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management with a strong background in supervising large teams of employees within casual dining, fine dining, or quick service settings. Minimum 1-year full-service restaurant management required.
- Extensive knowledge of wine, cocktails and fine dining preferred.
- Familiarity with Toast POS systems for sales transactions and inventory tracking.
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within the food industry.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, interviewing potential team members, and managing shifts effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations related to food safety standards and sanitation practices.
Pay: $75,000.00 per year
