Which staffing companies in Nebraska sponsor work visas?
Major staffing firms with Nebraska operations that have sponsored visas include Kelly Services, ManpowerGroup, and Robert Half, primarily for specialized roles in healthcare staffing and technical recruiting. Regional players like Contemporary Staffing Solutions and Express Employment Professionals also sponsor visas when hiring for client-facing positions requiring specific expertise. Healthcare staffing agencies serving Nebraska Medicine and CHI Health networks frequently sponsor H-1B visas for international recruiters with medical industry knowledge.
What visa types are most common for staffing jobs in Nebraska?
H-1B visas dominate Nebraska staffing sponsorship, particularly for recruitment consultants, talent acquisition specialists, and workforce analytics roles requiring bachelor's degrees. L-1 visas are common for international staffing companies transferring managers to Nebraska offices. O-1 visas occasionally appear for executive search consultants with extraordinary expertise in niche industries like agriculture technology or financial services recruiting.
How to find staffing visa sponsorship jobs in Nebraska?
Use Migrate Mate to search specifically for staffing and recruiting positions in Nebraska that offer visa sponsorship. Focus on Omaha and Lincoln metro areas where most opportunities concentrate. Filter by H-1B sponsorship history and target healthcare staffing agencies, financial services recruiters, and manufacturing workforce specialists. Many Nebraska staffing companies prefer candidates with specialized industry knowledge in agriculture, insurance, or medical device recruiting.
Which Nebraska cities have the most staffing visa sponsorship opportunities?
Omaha leads with 70% of Nebraska's staffing visa sponsorship jobs, concentrated in the downtown financial district and west Omaha corporate corridors. Lincoln follows with opportunities at university-adjacent firms and state government contractors. Grand Island and Kearney offer niche positions serving manufacturing plants, while Norfolk and Columbus have emerging opportunities in agricultural workforce management and food processing staffing.
What are prevailing wage considerations for Nebraska staffing roles?
Nebraska's lower cost of living means prevailing wages for staffing positions often fall below national averages, which can complicate H-1B applications requiring competitive compensation levels. However, specialized roles in healthcare staffing, executive search, or technical recruiting for financial services can meet prevailing wage thresholds. Omaha metro wages typically run 15-20% higher than outstate Nebraska positions, improving visa sponsorship viability.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored staffing jobs in Nebraska?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
