ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Warehouse Team Lead, Outbounds you will lead and manage the outbound logistics team to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe order fulfillment within Kuehne + Nagel’s global supply chain operations.

• Coordinate, assign, and evaluate daily activities (picking, packing, staging, loading) to meet productivity and service benchmarks.
• Develop team schedules, track attendance and KPIs, provide feedback and/or corrective actions.
• Order Fulfillment & Inventory Accuracy
• Verify outbound shipments against order specs, resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain real-time inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inspections, and warehouse housekeeping.
• Implement and optimize SOPs; identify inefficiencies and propose changes.
• Contribute to business planning; align team operations with service-level goals.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety/regulatory standards—equipment usage, PPE, lifting protocols.
• Manage work schedules, overtime, and weekend coverage to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Liaise with supervisors, internal departments (Procurement, Customer Care, Transportation), and external stakeholders.
• Generate daily/weekly performance reports (order volumes, cycle counts, quality metrics).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years in a warehouse environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Must have forklift operation experience, basic technical and math skills.
• Must work Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (plus overtime as needed).

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
