JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President of Sales will lead Illuminate USA’s sales organization and own top-line revenue performance across strategic customer channels. This role is responsible for driving new business, negotiating high-volume supply agreements, and ensuring customer commitments align with production capacity and delivery schedules. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP will establish a disciplined sales approach, oversee pipeline development and forecasting, and build the structure needed to support sustained regional growth. As the organization expands, this leader will scale the team while continuing to lead complex negotiations and drive overall sales performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own regional revenue performance and sales execution
- Develop and execute sales strategy across strategic customer channels
- Identify, pursue, and close high-value contracts
- Negotiate multi-year supply agreements and volume-based commitments
- Lead and develop the regional sales team
- Establish and manage pipeline discipline, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Oversee business development efforts and long-term account management
- Gather market and competitor insights to inform sales direction
- Partner closely with Operations, FP&A, and Brand/Communications to ensure customer commitments align with production capacity and market positioning
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 15–20 years of marketing and sales experience
- Minimum 5+ years of U.S. industry leadership experience
- Proven track record of revenue ownership and team leadership
- Experience negotiating complex, high-volume supply agreements
- Strong background in forecasting, contract negotiation, and pipeline management
- Experience working in or alongside manufacturing-driven organizations
PREFERRED
- Experience within the solar or renewable energy industry
- Experience scaling a regional or national sales organization
- Direct OEM solar sales experience
