Which marketing & advertising companies sponsor visas in Ohio?
Major Ohio employers that have sponsored marketing visas include Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, American Greetings in Cleveland, and Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati. Growing digital marketing agencies in Columbus and Cleveland also sponsor H-1B visas for specialized roles like marketing analysts, digital strategists, and performance marketing specialists with technical expertise.
How to find marketing & advertising visa sponsorship jobs in Ohio?
Use Migrate Mate to search specifically for marketing roles in Ohio that offer visa sponsorship. Focus on Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland metro areas where most sponsoring companies operate. Target larger corporations, insurance companies, and specialized digital agencies that have established patterns of hiring international marketing professionals.
Which visa types are most common for marketing & advertising roles in Ohio?
H-1B visas are most common for analytical marketing roles requiring specialized skills like data analysis, marketing automation, or digital performance measurement. O-1 visas may apply for marketing professionals with extraordinary achievements in advertising or brand strategy. TN visas are available for Canadian and Mexican citizens in qualifying marketing analyst positions.
Which cities in Ohio have the most marketing & advertising sponsorship jobs?
Columbus leads with the highest concentration due to major corporations like Nationwide, L Brands, and growing tech companies. Cincinnati follows with opportunities at Fifth Third Bank, Procter & Gamble's regional operations, and marketing agencies. Cleveland offers positions at American Greetings, healthcare marketing companies, and regional advertising firms.
What industry-specific factors affect marketing visa sponsorship in Ohio?
Ohio's insurance and retail sectors drive demand for specialized marketing analytics roles that qualify for H-1B sponsorship. The state's lower cost of living means prevailing wages may be lower than coastal markets. University partnerships with Ohio State and Cincinnati provide pipelines for international students transitioning to sponsored marketing positions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored marketing & advertising jobs in Ohio?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
