Southern Shade Tree is seeking a Quality Control / Efficiency Manager to support operations across our Coastal Region. This role will work directly under the Director of Quality and Training to ensure high-quality service delivery, improve operational efficiency, and maintain company standards across multiple job sites. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in landscaping operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct regular site visits across the Coastal Region (Myrtle Beach to Hilton Head) to ensure quality standards are met
- Monitor and evaluate crew performance, productivity, and adherence to company procedures
- Identify areas for operational improvement and implement efficiency initiatives
- Train and support crew leaders and team members on best practices and company expectations
- Perform job site audits, inspections, and follow-ups to ensure issues are resolved promptly
- Collaborate with management to develop and maintain quality control processes
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Assist with scheduling, routing, and workflow optimization as needed
- Provide regular reports on performance metrics, quality issues, and improvements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple job sites and priorities effectively
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (required)
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region
