POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Member Concierge is responsible for answering, servicing and routing calls for the Club. This position is also responsible for assisting members with dining reservations or other Club amenities. Other responsibilities include assisting with flyers/advertising of amenities and amenity events, providing administrative support, and providing back up for the Amenity Agents by assisting with amenity cards and Amenity Office coverage.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead by example and promote the Seabrook Island Club Core Values, Characteristics, Employee Constitution and Decision Making.
- Answer all phone calls and transfer appropriately, assisting callers as needed.
- Assist members with reservations and questions.
- Assist the Amenity Agents with making, issuing and recording amenity cards when necessary.
- Greet all members and guests with amenity and club information as needed.
- Maintain current amenity information and have up to date knowledge of the Club, its amenities and Seabrook Island Real Estate.
- Check website regularly for accuracy and alert the appropriate department that changes are necessary.
- Assist members navigating the website or logging in to their accounts.
- Give tours of the island for potential or new members.
- Assist Membership Office by preparing packets for potential and new members, and preparing new member gifts.
- Provide printing, scanning and faxing services to members and guests.
- Ensure all information is stocked and up to date in the Amenity Office.
- Attend Membership Committee Meetings and record minutes.
- Assist Amenity Agents in day to day activities as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelors or Associates degree preferred.
Experience: One year office/administrative service experience or customer service experience preferred.
Skills: Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, customer service, and computer skills required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: NONE
Equipment to be used: Amenity Card machine, computer, fax machine, copier, postage machine.
Typical Physical Demands: Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require some lifting of up to 30 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machinery. Requires normal range of hearing and vision. Requires ability to function professionally in a challenging, demanding and time sensitive environment.
