JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS
As the Director HCA Contracting, you will work closely with the Senior Director, HCA Contracting to develop, direct, lead and execute on division, regional or HCA national agreements related to specific service lines as assigned.
What you will do in this role:
- Work closely on a team of professionals to help execute on key strategies to reduce HCA’s Non-Contracted Spend.
- Work with HCA Senior Director of Contracting, Healthtrust GPO, specific target vendors, etc. to identify new contracting opportunities and to maximize cost reductions for existing Division/Regional and National Contracts.
- Work closely with the Senior Director of Contracting, Healthtrust and HCA Divisions to make sure equipment and bulk buys savings are maximized.
- Analyze and implement best practices, policies and procedures across HCA Contracting.
- Coordinate, communicate and share intelligence with other service line contracting teams to assist and improve upon cost savings opportunities and to minimize redundancies or duplication of efforts.
- Review and prepare all division/regional custom agreements to ensure they are not in conflict with Healthtrust or national HCA agreements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5-7 years of related healthcare or industry experience preferred
- Contracting experience in healthcare preferred
