ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Join our dedicated team at the Chattanooga, TN Fibers Plant, and play a vital role in our production process. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Production Operator to help ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Review process specifications to ensure processing accuracy.
- Operate cutting equipment as directed and complete shift machine paperwork.
- Fill out the production board and document countermeasures accurately.
- Perform quality checks as required to maintain high standards.
- Enter production data into SAP and generate tickets.
- Affix tickets to finished pallets.
- Program printers and change ribbon as needed.
- Replace paper rolls when necessary.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Proficient using a computer and common software applications.
- Previous forklift experience and/or certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to calculate simple math problems and read/use a tape measure.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
