Chris Aguirre State Farm is looking for an Insurance Sales and Service Representative fluent in English and Spanish who combines a competitive sales mindset with a genuine commitment to helping customers. If you have sales experience, a can-do attitude, and the persistence to keep moving forward, we want to hear from you.

An existing insurance license is not required to apply. You must be willing to obtain your Maryland Property and Casualty insurance license before performing activities that require it.

ABOUT OUR AGENCY

Chris Aguirre opened his first agency in 2010 and expanded to serve more customers throughout the region. Our agency helps individuals, families, and businesses with insurance and emphasizes personal attention, responsive service, and helping customers in both English and Spanish.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Drive new business through proactive outreach, lead follow-up, referrals, and relationship-building.
• Ask thoughtful questions to understand customers’ needs and identify appropriate insurance options.
• Guide prospects from the first conversation through the buying decision with consistent follow-up.
• Once appropriately licensed, present quotes, explain coverage options, address objections, and ask for the sale.
• Identify opportunities to help existing customers with additional coverage based on their needs.
• Deliver responsive service in English and Spanish.
• Help customers with questions, billing concerns, and policy-service needs within your licensing authority.
• Maintain accurate customer records, organize your sales pipeline, and keep commitments.
• Work toward individual and team sales goals while putting customer needs first.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate professionally in both languages.
• Prior sales experience and examples of how you have met goals, won customers, or grown business.
• High energy, initiative, and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Persistence, consistent follow-up, and the ability to handle rejection professionally.
• Confidence discussing value, navigating objections, and asking for business.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to build trust.
• Organization, accountability, and reliable follow-through.
• Willingness to learn insurance products, systems, and procedures.
• A current Maryland Property and Casualty insurance license or a commitment to obtain it.

SALES EXPERIENCE THAT TRANSLATES

Experience in retail sales, automotive sales, wireless sales, banking, inside sales, outside sales, account management, or other goal-driven sales environments is welcome.

Insurance experience is a plus, but your sales discipline, attitude, and willingness to learn matter.

This position is with Chris Aguirre’s independent State Farm agency, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Compensation, benefits, and employment terms are determined by the independent agent.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
