JOB DETAILS
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Attorney, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Handling a wide array of legal matters, including business law, construction law, healthcare, employment law, labor and employment, mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, estate planning, cybersecurity, data protection, intellectual property, and real estate.
2. Originating and managing client relationships, demonstrating excellent client development and practice development skills.
3. Implementing strategies for business development and cross-selling of firm’s services.
4. Serving as a rainmaker, driving new business for the firm and playing a key role in its growth.
5. Providing expert legal advice to clients, ensuring their interests are protected and their legal obligations are met.
6. Conducting thorough research and analysis of legal problems.
7. Interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
8. Representing clients in court or before government agencies, if necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for the Permanent Attorney position, you must have:
1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 7 years of experience as a practicing attorney.
4. Proven experience in areas such as business law, construction law, healthcare, employment law, labor and employment, mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, estate planning, cybersecurity, data protection, intellectual property, and real estate.
5. Demonstrable experience in originating and managing client relationships.
6. Proven track record as a rainmaker, with strong business development skills.
7. Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
8. Demonstrated ability to handle a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment.
9. Proficiency in using legal software and technology.
10. Strong commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
