YOUR ROLE & IMPACT
As a CMA at Althing, you are the face of our clinic and a critical link in the patient experience. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Clinical Excellence: Performing vitals, phlebotomy, collecting lab samples, and assisting providers with standard care procedures.
- Patient Advocacy: Greeting patients, managing appointments in the EMR, and ensuring every visitor feels heard and cared for.
- Clinic Stewardship: Maintaining a safe, clean, and stocked environment that reflects our high standards of care.
- Innovation: Embracing and owning new processes that enhance our reputation and operational efficiency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Professionals: Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program.
- Bilingual Skills: A huge plus! We serve a diverse community and love candidates who can bridge communication gaps.
- Adaptability: A well-organized individual who follows protocols but thrives in an evolving, "novel" healthcare environment.
