Change Management Coordinator Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a change management coordinator in Georgia?
Most change management coordinator roles in Georgia require a bachelor's degree in business, organizational behavior, human resources, or a related field. Georgia employers widely recognize the Prosci ADKAR certification and the Association of Change Management Professionals' CCMP credential, neither of which requires a state-issued license. Candidates who combine a relevant degree with one of those credentials and hands-on project or program support experience are consistently the strongest candidates for open roles in Georgia.
Which companies hire change management coordinators in Georgia?
Companies currently hiring change management coordinators in Georgia include QTS, Aptean, and RSM, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, large hospital systems, and state agency modernization programs keeps demand for this role steady across multiple sectors.
Which Georgia cities have the most change management coordinator jobs?
Atlanta, Alpharetta, and Suwanee account for the most change management coordinator openings in Georgia. Atlanta drives the majority of listings as the state's corporate and government hub, while Alpharetta draws openings from its dense cluster of technology and financial services firms, and Augusta benefits from large healthcare systems and federal contractor activity tied to Fort Eisenhower.
Are there remote change management coordinator jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields, because change management coordination is fundamentally a communication and documentation role that translates well to remote work. About 0% of change management coordinator openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly Georgia employers have adopted flexible arrangements for this function. The most remote-friendly tasks include stakeholder communication planning, training content development, and readiness assessment work.
How can I get hired as a change management coordinator in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a project coordinator, business analyst, or HR generalist role, then framing that work in terms of change impact and stakeholder engagement. Large Georgia employers such as Piedmont Healthcare, Georgia-Pacific, and state agencies like the Georgia Technology Authority hire project coordinators and program associates who support change initiatives directly. Completing the Prosci ADKAR certification before applying gives candidates a measurable edge, and several Georgia universities offer organizational development coursework that pairs well with an entry-level application.
Where can I find and apply to change management coordinator jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to change management coordinator jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings. Search the listings, find the roles that fit your experience and location preference, and apply directly to the ones that match.
