Client Manager Jobs in Wisconsin: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a client manager in Wisconsin?
Most Wisconsin employers require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline paired with prior client-facing or sales experience. There is no state-issued license specific to the client manager title in Wisconsin, but roles in financial services may require FINRA Series licenses, and insurance-adjacent positions often expect a Wisconsin Insurance License issued through the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance. Building experience in account coordination or inside sales is the most reliable path into the role.
Which companies hire client managers in Wisconsin?
Companies currently hiring client managers in Wisconsin include M3 Insurance Solutions, FIS, and Forj, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Wisconsin's deep roots in financial services, insurance, and healthcare technology mean that large headquarters operations in these sectors generate some of the most consistent client manager openings in the state.
Which Wisconsin cities have the most client manager jobs?
Milwaukee, Madison, and Wauwatosa lead Wisconsin for client manager openings. Milwaukee drives the largest share because it is home to major financial services and insurance headquarters, while Madison's growing technology and health services sector produces steady demand, and Green Bay's mix of manufacturing, logistics, and regional banking supports a reliable pipeline of client-facing roles.
Are there remote client manager jobs in Wisconsin?
Yes, and more than many other roles, since client management is primarily relationship- and communication-driven rather than tied to a physical worksite. About 83% of client manager openings tied to Wisconsin are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how widely the role translates to digital collaboration tools. Strategic account management and SaaS-focused positions tend to offer the most remote flexibility.
How can I get hired as a client manager in Wisconsin with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a client manager role from an adjacent position such as customer success coordinator, inside sales representative, or account support specialist. Large Wisconsin employers in financial services and insurance, including those headquartered in Milwaukee, often run associate or rotational programs designed for recent graduates. Earning a Wisconsin Insurance License through the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance or completing a Salesforce administrator credential can make a candidate significantly more competitive when applying for junior client manager roles.
Where can I find and apply to client manager jobs in Wisconsin?
You can find and apply to client manager jobs in Wisconsin on Migrate Mate, which lists current Wisconsin openings updated regularly. Find the roles that fit your background and apply directly to the employers posting them.
