Client Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a client manager in Georgia?
Most client manager roles in Georgia require a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a closely related field, though no state-issued license is required for the role itself. Employers typically look for several years of account management or customer-facing experience before hiring at the manager level. Industry-specific certifications such as the Certified Strategic Account Manager credential can strengthen a Georgia candidacy, particularly in technology and financial services firms headquartered in the Atlanta metro.
Which companies hire client managers in Georgia?
Employers hiring client managers in Georgia right now include Marsh, ABM Industries, and Invesco, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of fintech firms, logistics companies, and healthcare organizations in the Atlanta corridor means client manager demand stays consistent well beyond peak hiring seasons.
Which Georgia cities have the most client manager jobs?
Atlanta, Alpharetta, and Sandy Springs lead Georgia for client manager openings. Atlanta dominates due to its density of corporate headquarters and regional offices in finance, technology, and healthcare, while Alpharetta's thriving technology corridor and Savannah's growing logistics and port-related industries draw a steady share of account management hiring outside the core metro.
Are there remote client manager jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 61% of client manager openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how much of the work involves digital communication, CRM management, and virtual client meetings. Strategic account and enterprise client roles tend to offer the most remote flexibility, while roles requiring frequent on-site visits to Georgia clients are more likely to be fully in-person.
How can I get hired as a client manager in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a customer success associate or sales development role at one of Atlanta's many SaaS or fintech firms, which routinely promote from within into client manager positions. Companies like Salesforce, NCR Voyix, and mid-size technology firms in Alpharetta run structured associate programs for candidates without direct account management experience. A Salesforce Administrator certification or a HubSpot credential gives applicants a concrete edge when competing for these junior roles.
Where can I find and apply to client manager jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to client manager jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings across Atlanta, Alpharetta, Savannah, and the broader state. Find the roles that fit your experience and apply directly to each one.
