Client Services Manager Jobs in North Carolina: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a client services manager in North Carolina?
Most client services manager roles in North Carolina require a bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or a related field, though no state-issued license is required for the role itself. Employers in regulated sectors like financial services or healthcare may expect familiarity with industry-specific compliance frameworks. The typical path involves starting in customer support, account coordinator, or sales associate roles at North Carolina companies and advancing through demonstrated client retention results and expanded account responsibility.
Which companies hire client services managers in North Carolina?
Companies currently hiring client services managers in North Carolina include BAYADA Home Health Care, Cox Communications, and TJT, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. North Carolina's concentration of financial institutions, health systems, and technology firms in the Charlotte and Research Triangle areas makes it one of the more active states for this role year-round.
Which North Carolina cities have the most client services manager jobs?
Raleigh, Charlotte, and Durham account for the largest share of client services manager openings in North Carolina. Charlotte's position as a major U.S. banking and financial services hub drives the highest volume, while Raleigh and Durham benefit from a dense cluster of technology companies, health systems, and corporate headquarters in the Research Triangle, and Greensboro draws from its logistics, insurance, and professional services sectors.
Are there remote client services manager jobs in North Carolina?
Yes, and they are more common than in many other fields, since client services manager work is largely desk-based and can be conducted through video calls, CRM platforms, and digital communication tools. About 25% of client services manager openings tied to North Carolina are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how broadly this role has shifted toward flexible arrangements. Account management and client success functions tend to have the highest remote availability within the broader role.
How can I get hired as a client services manager in North Carolina with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through customer support, sales coordinator, or client onboarding roles at North Carolina-based companies, particularly in Charlotte's financial services firms or Raleigh's technology sector. Employers such as large health systems and banking institutions in the state frequently hire associate client services representatives or account support specialists as a structured entry point. Earning a certification in project management or CRM administration strengthens an application considerably for candidates without direct management experience.
