Well Into Life Massage & Skincare is seeking a highly qualified person with an excellent work ethic to join our team as a part time employee. We are interested in finding an employee that is looking for long-term employment with a growing company.
This position will require some evening and weekend work hours.
Function: Front desk activities and office support.
NOTE: Background and reference check is required for this position at Well Into Life.
Essential Duties:
- Assist with the daily operations of the office.
- Perform duties to ensure office environment and workflow is impeccable (including room prep, linens processing, making sure supplies are available for both clients and therapists, etc.).
- Assist with the overall cleanliness and presentation of facility.
- Answer phone calls to the office.
- Place phone calls/emails/texts to clients, vendors, and others as needed.
- Assist with all aspects of scheduling client appointments using online scheduling software (Mindbody Online).
- Process payments from clients using online software.
- Maintain inventories of products used by therapists.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience with front desk support in a spa environment is a definite plus.
- Ability to identify and problem solve.
- Ability to effectively and professionally interact with, and communicate with clients, staff, owners, and vendors (verbally and written) is an absolute must.
Other Requirements:
- Satisfactory results of background and reference check is a condition of employment for this position.
- Associate's Degree and above is preferred.
- General knowledge of modalities offered by Well Into Life, and understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
- Must have excellent working knowledge of using office equipment including telephones, computers, copy machines/printers, tablets, and smart phones.
- Must have excellent and accurate typing skills.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work afternoons/evenings on some Saturdays and Sundays, and potentially other days as needed.
- Must be customer service oriented and have a very friendly disposition.
- Follows management's policies, procedures and direction.
- Accepts constructive criticism in a positive manner and uses it as a learning tool.
Number of hours needed per week will be approximately 30-35 hours. Some nights and weekend shifts will be needed. Flexibility in schedule is important as needed.
