Job Summary:
The Clinic Director oversees daily operations for a chiropractic practice, supporting staff, practice members, and the doctor. This role coordinates scheduling, office systems, team communication, administrative processes, and the flow of services. The director helps maintain a welcoming, organized environment and supports the practice’s focus on preventive health and wellness.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate staff time-off requests, payroll, team meetings, and communication with the doctor.
- Oversee employee and practice member scheduling, including individual appointments and bulk scheduling for chiropractic visits, massage appointments, and yoga classes.
- Maintain office systems, case records, documentation, account managment, alerts, and accurate entry of diagnostic and treatment codes.
- Sale of chiropractic packages, yoga memberships, CBD product, and occasional essential oils.
- Complete opening and closing procedures and support insurance benefit verification and financial outline preparation.
- Reconcile monthly statistics and send documentation to bookkeeper
- Explain financial commitments and office policies to practice members.
- Manage practice member communications and day-one appointment confirmations.
- Coordinate the flow of practice members through exercise, traction, adjustments, and massage services; training is provided for traction setup procedures.
- Order supplies and maintain inventory, including inventory records in the practice software.
- Manage scheduling and messaging software, update visit parameters, and coordinate with software support as needed.
- Respond to social media leads and update marketing records with communication and scheduling details.
- Support a positive, organized office environment and help uphold established procedures.
Qualifications:
- Interest in health, wellness, and preventive care.
- Prior management experience.
- Healthcare administration or related experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and familiarity with Google Workspace.
- Strong computer, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable being around and supporting sick individuals and people in severe pain.
