Clinical Project Manager Jobs in Wyoming: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a clinical project manager in Wyoming?
The standard path starts with a bachelor's degree in nursing, biology, or a related health science, followed by clinical research or coordinator experience. Wyoming does not issue a state-specific license for clinical project managers, but employers typically expect a credential such as the ACRP's Certified Clinical Research Professional or the SoCRA CCRP. Gaining experience at a Wyoming hospital system or regional CRO, then moving into a project oversight role, is the most direct route in this state.
How much do clinical project managers make in Wyoming?
Clinical project managers in Wyoming earn a median of about $94,080 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $54,750 for the lowest 10% to over $151,500 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire clinical project managers in Wyoming?
Wyoming clinical project manager roles are posted by CVS Health, Presence, and lululemon and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Wyoming's concentration of regional hospital networks and telehealth-integrated health systems means a meaningful share of postings come from large integrated care organizations with multi-site trial programs.
Which Wyoming cities have the most clinical project manager jobs?
Cheyenne, Casper, and Wyoming hold the most clinical project manager openings in Wyoming. Casper leads because it anchors Wyoming Medical Center and several regional specialty clinics that run active research programs, while Cheyenne's state government presence and Banner Health footprint drive consistent demand, and Jackson's high-income patient base supports specialized clinical services that require project oversight.
Are there remote clinical project manager jobs in Wyoming?
Yes, and they are more common than in many clinical roles because much of the work involves data review, vendor coordination, and documentation rather than direct patient contact. About 20% of clinical project manager openings tied to Wyoming are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the desk-heavy nature of the role. Site activation and monitoring visits typically still require in-person presence, but day-to-day project management is well suited to remote arrangements.
How can I get hired as a clinical project manager in Wyoming with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting as a clinical research coordinator or clinical trials assistant at a Wyoming hospital system such as Wyoming Medical Center or a Banner Health facility, where structured research programs occasionally bring on coordinators without prior trial experience. Earning the ACRP Clinical Research Associate credential before applying signals readiness to hiring managers. Adjacent roles in regulatory affairs support, data management, or clinical quality assurance at regional health networks also build the project oversight skills that move candidates into junior PM positions.
Where can I find and apply to clinical project manager jobs in Wyoming?
