Target engineering and operations roles
Celestica's sponsorship activity centers on technical and operations talent aligned with its electronics manufacturing business. Focus your applications on roles in hardware engineering, supply chain, and production where the company's long-term hiring needs are strongest.
Understand the visa types Celestica sponsors
Celestica sponsors Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3, along with F-1 OPT and CPT for students and TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals. Knowing which categories apply to you before applying helps you ask the right questions during interviews.
Position yourself for permanent residence pathways
Celestica's sponsorship history skews toward Green Card filings rather than temporary work visas. If long-term U.S. residency is your goal, emphasize your intent to grow with the company and frame your background in terms of long-term contribution.
Leverage F-1 OPT and CPT as an entry point
Celestica's support for F-1 OPT and CPT makes it accessible for international students. Starting in a co-op or OPT role can establish your value within the company before any longer-term sponsorship conversation begins.
Research open roles that match Celestica's sponsorship footprint
Not every role at Celestica will lead to sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify which positions at Celestica are realistic targets based on the company's actual track record.
Bring up sponsorship early and directly
Celestica is familiar with immigration processes given its sponsorship history in permanent residence categories. Raising visa needs early in the hiring conversation signals transparency and lets both sides assess fit before investing significant time in the process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Celestica sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, Celestica's recent visa activity has not included H-1B visa filings. The company's sponsorship focus has been on Green Card pathways such as EB-2 and EB-3, along with F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. Candidates who require H-1B visa sponsorship should clarify this directly with Celestica's recruiting team during the hiring process.
What visa types does Celestica sponsor?
Celestica sponsors permanent residence through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card categories, which are suited to professionals with bachelor's degrees or advanced qualifications. The company also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for current international students, and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals working in eligible specialty occupations.
Which departments or roles at Celestica are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Celestica's core business in electronics manufacturing and supply chain services means its strongest hiring needs typically sit in hardware engineering, manufacturing operations, quality assurance, and supply chain management. These are the areas where the company has historically invested in longer-term talent, making them the most realistic targets for candidates who need sponsorship.
How do I find open jobs at Celestica that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to identify Celestica roles tied to real sponsorship history. Rather than guessing which postings lead to visa support, you can filter by verified sponsorship data to find positions that align with your visa category. From there, apply directly and reference your visa type early in the conversation with the recruiter.
How do I approach the application timeline when targeting Celestica for Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 is a multi-step process that typically begins after you've established yourself in the role. Expect the PERM labor certification alone to take several months before an I-140 petition can be filed. Starting the conversation about sponsorship during the offer stage, rather than after onboarding, gives you a clearer picture of the employer's timeline and commitment.
