Frame Your Clinical Knowledge as a Sales Asset
Lincare sells respiratory therapy and home health products directly to patients and referral sources. Highlight any coursework or experience with medical terminology, chronic disease management, or DME in your resume before applying.
Confirm OPT Authorization Before Your Interview
If you're on F-1 OPT, verify your EAD card reflects the correct employer authorization category. Lincare's HR teams often process OPT hires quickly, so arriving with documentation ready prevents delays in your start date.
Target Territory-Based Sales Openings by Region
Lincare fills Sales roles market by market, not nationally. Search for openings tied to specific metropolitan service areas where respiratory patient density is high, since those territories generate the fastest hiring decisions and the clearest sponsorship need.
Ask Directly About H-1B Filing Timelines at Offer
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start. When you receive an offer, ask the recruiter which fiscal year the petition targets so you can plan your transition and avoid a gap in work authorization.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Lincare Sales Openings
Not every Lincare posting specifies visa sponsorship availability. Use Migrate Mate to surface Sales roles at Lincare that have a confirmed sponsorship history, so you apply where your authorization is most likely to be supported.
Align Your TN Application to a Qualifying Sales Function
TN status covers specific USMCA-listed occupations. If you're Canadian or Mexican, work with Lincare's HR to confirm your Sales role maps to a qualifying category such as Management Consultant before the offer letter is finalized with USCIS-compatible language.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Lincare sponsor H-1B visas for Sales roles?
Yes, Lincare has sponsored H-1B visas for Sales positions. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every opening, so it's worth confirming directly with the recruiter during the interview process. Roles tied to specific patient service territories tend to generate the clearest business justification for sponsorship, which strengthens the H-1B petition.
How do I apply for Sales jobs at Lincare?
You can apply through Lincare's careers page or use Migrate Mate to browse Sales openings where visa sponsorship has been documented. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific territory and product line in the posting. Reaching out to the regional sales manager directly after submitting your application can meaningfully improve your response rate.
Which visa types are commonly used for Sales roles at Lincare?
Lincare has worked with candidates on H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Sales positions. F-1 OPT is common for recent graduates entering healthcare sales. H-1B is the standard long-term pathway. TN is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals if the Sales role aligns with a USMCA-listed occupation category.
What qualifications does Lincare expect for Sales candidates who need sponsorship?
Lincare typically looks for Sales candidates with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, healthcare administration, or life sciences. Prior experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or home health sales is a strong differentiator. For H-1B eligibility, your role must qualify as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field.
How do I time my application to avoid a gap in work authorization?
If you're transitioning from OPT to H-1B, the cap-subject lottery runs in March with an October 1 start date. Apply to Lincare Sales roles no later than January or February to give your employer enough time to prepare and submit the petition before the April 1 USCIS filing window. Cap-exempt scenarios, such as if Lincare files through a qualifying nonprofit affiliate, follow different timelines.
