Align your credentials with clinical sales expectations
Quest Diagnostics Sales roles typically require familiarity with laboratory services, diagnostic testing, or healthcare accounts. Before applying, frame your resume around clinical or healthcare industry sales experience rather than general B2B sales, since hiring managers screen for vertical-specific knowledge.
Target territory-based openings over corporate roles
Quest's Sales team is structured around regional territories tied to hospital networks and physician offices. Field-based territory roles generate the most consistent sponsorship activity, so prioritize those postings over internal or headquarters-based positions when you need visa support.
Confirm sponsorship willingness before the final interview round
Quest has sponsored H-1B and TN visas for Sales hires, but individual hiring managers may not know the process. Ask your recruiter directly whether the role is approved for sponsorship during the offer stage, not after you've signed anything.
Time your H-1B application around the April cap deadline
If you're targeting an H-1B with Quest, the USCIS cap registration window typically opens in March for an October 1 start date. Coordinate your offer timeline so the company's immigration counsel can file within that window, since missing it means waiting a full year.
Use Migrate Mate to surface Quest Diagnostics Sales openings filtered by visa type
Searching Quest's careers page doesn't show sponsorship eligibility by role. Use Migrate Mate to filter verified Sales openings at Quest by the visa types they've sponsored, so you're only spending time on positions that match your immigration situation.
Understand how TN status fits a healthcare Sales career
Canadian and Mexican nationals with a qualifying background may be eligible for TN status rather than H-1B. DOL recognizes certain management and scientific roles under USMCA, so verify whether your Sales title and job duties meet the TN category requirements before assuming you need to enter the H-1B lottery.

Does Quest Diagnostics sponsor H-1B visas for Sales roles?
Yes, Quest Diagnostics has an established record of sponsoring H-1B visas for Sales professionals. Sponsorship is most common for territory-based and account management roles tied to hospital and physician group relationships. If you receive an offer, Quest works with immigration counsel to handle USCIS filings, but you should confirm sponsorship eligibility with your recruiter before the offer stage.
How do I apply for Sales jobs at Quest Diagnostics?
You can apply directly through Quest Diagnostics' careers portal or browse their verified sponsorship-eligible openings on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type so you can focus on positions that match your immigration situation. Tailor your application to highlight healthcare or diagnostics industry sales experience, since Quest prioritizes candidates familiar with clinical accounts, laboratory services, and health system relationships.
Which visa types does Quest Diagnostics commonly sponsor for Sales positions?
Quest Diagnostics has sponsored H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Sales hires. H-1B is the most common route for full-time roles. F-1 OPT or CPT may apply if you're currently on a student visa. Canadian and Mexican nationals should explore TN status as an alternative that bypasses the H-1B lottery.
What qualifications does Quest Diagnostics expect for Sales roles?
Quest Diagnostics Sales roles generally require a bachelor's degree and demonstrated experience selling into healthcare settings, specifically hospitals, physician practices, or health systems. Familiarity with laboratory diagnostics, reference testing, or clinical services is a strong differentiator. For specialty or strategic account roles, prior experience managing large hospital contracts or integrated delivery networks is frequently expected.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Sales offer at Quest Diagnostics?
Timeline depends on your visa category. F-1 OPT authorization can be in place within weeks if your EAD is already approved. H-1B sponsorship follows USCIS's cap cycle, with an October 1 start date for cap-subject cases filed in April. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 can take one to several years depending on your country of birth and DOL processing backlogs.
