Frame your territory management experience clearly
Quest Diagnostics Account Executives manage defined geographic territories and client portfolios. When building your resume, quantify how you grew accounts, retained clients, or expanded service lines in a healthcare or diagnostics context rather than describing general sales duties.
Research which Quest divisions hire internationally
Quest operates across clinical diagnostics, employer solutions, and hospital laboratory management. Roles tied to hospital and health system accounts tend to require deeper clinical knowledge and are the most active for sponsored hires, so target those business units first in your outreach.
Understand how TN status applies to sales roles
Canadian and Mexican nationals in Account Executive roles may qualify under the TN visa category if the position is classified under a qualifying professional occupation. Confirm with your prospective employer that the job description aligns with DOL-recognized TN categories before accepting an offer structured around TN status.
Use Migrate Mate to filter sponsoring Account Executive roles
Not every Account Executive opening at Quest will include visa sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for sponsored positions at Quest Diagnostics, so you apply only where the company has already confirmed willingness to file on your behalf.
Time your OPT application to match Quest's hiring cycle
Quest typically backfills Account Executive territories mid-quarter when revenue targets shift. If you're on F-1 OPT, apply 60 to 90 days before your current authorization expires to give USCIS time to process a cap-gap extension if your H-1B petition is filed before October 1.
Prepare your credential documents before the offer stage
Quest's HR team will need to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before your H-1B petition can be submitted. Have your degree transcripts, employment verification letters, and any professional licenses ready so the LCA process doesn't stall after you've accepted an offer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Quest Diagnostics sponsor H-1B visas for Account Executives?
Yes, Quest Diagnostics sponsors H-1B visas for Account Executive roles. The company has an established process for employer-sponsored petitions in its sales and client services functions. Because H-1B sponsorship requires a Labor Condition Application filed with the DOL and a petition submitted to USCIS, you should confirm sponsorship eligibility with the recruiter before advancing past the initial interview stage.
Which visa types does Quest Diagnostics commonly use for Account Executive roles?
Quest Diagnostics supports H-1B transfers and new cap-subject petitions, F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates entering healthcare sales, TN visa status for qualifying Canadian and Mexican nationals, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-tenured employees. The right visa type depends on your nationality, education, and where you are in your career.
What qualifications does Quest Diagnostics expect for Account Executive positions?
Quest typically expects a bachelor's degree in a life sciences, business, or healthcare-related field, combined with proven B2B or healthcare sales experience. Familiarity with hospital systems, physician group purchasing, or laboratory services is a strong differentiator. Roles covering hospital accounts often require deeper clinical literacy than those focused on employer wellness or occupational health clients.
How do I apply for Account Executive jobs at Quest Diagnostics?
You can find open Account Executive positions at Quest Diagnostics through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles offering visa sponsorship so you're not wasting time on listings that won't support international candidates. From there, apply directly through Quest's careers portal. Tailor your application to the specific territory or business unit listed, since hiring managers are typically regional and evaluate fit against local account needs.
How do I plan my timeline if Quest Diagnostics is filing an H-1B for me?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed in April for an October 1 start date, so your offer needs to be in place before the registration window opens in March. If you're transferring an existing H-1B from another employer, Quest can file a transfer petition at any time and you can start work once the receipt notice is issued, without waiting for October 1.
