Frame your sales experience in revenue terms
Hyatt's Sales hiring focuses on account production and revenue contribution. Quantify your pipeline management, group booking conversions, or key account growth in your resume so recruiters can immediately connect your background to property-level or regional sales targets.
Target roles tied to group and events sales
Hyatt's highest-volume Sales hiring concentrates in group sales, convention services, and national accounts. These roles have clearer specialty occupation footing for H-1B purposes than general sales coordinator titles, which strengthens your petition at the USCIS adjudication stage.
Browse open Hyatt Sales positions on Migrate Mate
Filter Migrate Mate's job board specifically for Hyatt Sales openings to surface roles where sponsorship is already confirmed. This saves you from applying blind and lets you prioritize positions where the immigration infrastructure is already in place.
Clarify LCA wage levels before accepting an offer
Before signing, ask HR which DOL prevailing wage level the Labor Condition Application will be filed at. Level I or II filings in hospitality sales markets can affect your long-term renewals, so knowing this upfront lets you negotiate appropriately and plan your timeline.
Align your degree field to the posted job description
USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation claims for Sales roles closely. A degree in hospitality management, marketing, or business administration directly tied to the job duties in Hyatt's posting gives your H-1B petition a stronger foundation than a general sales background alone.
Build credentials in hospitality sales certifications early
Credentials like the Certified Hospitality Sales Professional designation signal industry fluency and reinforce specialty occupation arguments. Completing these before your job search strengthens your profile for both the hiring team and your eventual visa petition documentation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Hyatt sponsor H-1B visas for Sales roles?
Yes, Hyatt sponsors H-1B visas for Sales positions, particularly in group sales, national accounts, and convention services where the specialty occupation standard is easier to establish. Roles requiring a degree in hospitality management, marketing, or business administration are the strongest candidates for H-1B sponsorship. General sales coordinator titles may face more scrutiny, so the specific job description matters.
How do I apply for Sales jobs at Hyatt?
Apply directly through Hyatt's careers portal or browse confirmed sponsorship-eligible openings on Migrate Mate. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific sales function listed, whether that's group sales, catering, or national accounts, since Hyatt's recruiters review candidates against property-level revenue targets. Following up with the hiring manager or a regional HR contact after applying improves your visibility in a competitive applicant pool.
Which visa types does Hyatt commonly use for Sales positions?
Hyatt sponsors H-1B visas for professional Sales roles and uses TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying sales positions. F-1 OPT and CPT are options for current students or recent graduates entering entry-level sales roles. For longer-term pathways, Hyatt has also supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for Sales professionals who demonstrate sustained performance and meet PERM labor certification requirements.
What qualifications does Hyatt expect for sponsored Sales roles?
Hyatt typically expects a bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or marketing for sponsored Sales positions. Relevant experience in hotel group sales, convention services, or key account management strengthens your candidacy significantly. For H-1B purposes, the degree field needs to align directly with the job duties outlined in the posting, so a general business degree without hospitality context may require additional documentation to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation criteria.
How do I plan my timeline if I need Hyatt to sponsor my visa?
If you're targeting an H-1B, the annual cap filing window opens in March for an October 1 start date, so you'd need an offer finalized well before then. For F-1 OPT holders, your 60-day grace period after graduation or employment ends is short, making it important to have an offer and sponsorship commitment confirmed before your OPT expires. TN and H-2B visa timelines are more flexible but still require employer-initiated paperwork, so raise the sponsorship conversation early in the offer stage.
