Frame your credentials around supply chain programs
Molex Program Manager roles lean heavily on supply chain and manufacturing program delivery. Before applying, align your resume and portfolio to show end-to-end program ownership in product development or operations contexts, not just project coordination.
Research Molex's LCA filings on FLAG
The DOL's FLAG portal publishes certified Labor Condition Applications by employer and job title. Searching Molex's LCA history for Program Manager filings tells you which work locations are actively used and what prevailing wage levels apply to your target role.
Target business units with active program pipelines
Molex operates across multiple industry verticals. Program Manager openings tied to high-volume connector or component programs tend to move faster through headcount approval. Prioritize applications to divisions with recent product launches or announced expansion.
Clarify your OPT cap-gap status before interviews
If you're on F-1 OPT and your program end date falls before October 1, confirm your cap-gap eligibility with your DSO before accepting an offer. Molex will need this timeline to sequence the H-1B petition correctly with your work authorization.

Sorting by sponsored visa type saves time when targeting a specific pathway. Migrate Mate lets you filter Molex Program Manager listings by the visa categories they actively support, so you can focus applications where your status is already a fit.
Get your PERM timeline expectations right early
If your goal is a Green Card through EB-2 or EB-3, the PERM recruitment and audit process at DOL can add 12 to 18 months before an I-140 is even filed. Raise the green card pathway question during the offer stage, not after you've accepted.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Molex sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Molex sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. The company has a consistent history of filing H-1B petitions for this function, and Program Manager positions typically qualify as specialty occupations given the degree requirements in engineering, supply chain, or a related technical field. Your offer letter and job description will need to clearly reflect those requirements to support the petition.
Which visa types does Molex commonly use for Program Manager roles?
Molex supports several visa categories for Program Managers, including H-1B, TN visa for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for students in active programs, and J-1 visa for qualifying exchange visitors. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, Molex has filed EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions for this role type. The right pathway depends on your nationality, current status, and career timeline.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Molex?
You can browse and apply for Program Manager openings at Molex through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm the role supports your status before applying. When you apply, tailor your application to highlight cross-functional program ownership and supply chain or manufacturing experience. Molex recruiting tends to move through multiple interview rounds focused on program execution and stakeholder management.
What qualifications does Molex expect for sponsored Program Manager roles?
Molex typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical discipline for Program Manager positions. Candidates with experience managing complex hardware or component programs, familiarity with stage-gate development processes, and demonstrated cross-functional leadership are competitive. An advanced degree or PMP certification can strengthen both your application and the H-1B specialty occupation classification.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship at Molex?
The H-1B cap registration window opens in March each year, with employment starting no earlier than October 1. If you're currently on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date against that October 1 start date and discuss cap-gap coverage with your DSO. Molex will need to file your petition between April and June for an October start, so securing an offer well before the March registration window is the practical target.
