Align your portfolio to Molex's product lines
Molex operates across connectivity and electronic solutions, so frame your development experience around hardware lifecycle, materials sourcing, or manufacturing process improvement. Generic product management portfolios won't stand out for this function.
Target Molex's engineering-heavy business units
Development Manager openings at Molex cluster around connector systems and industrial product lines. Focusing your applications on those units increases your chances of reaching a hiring team that regularly works with international candidates and understands sponsorship workflows.
Prepare your degree equivalency documentation early
H-1B specialty occupation petitions require your role and degree to align. If your engineering degree is from a non-U.S. institution, get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved body before Molex initiates the I-129 filing process.
Understand where PERM fits for long-term sponsorship
If Molex offers EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship for a Development Manager role, the PERM labor certification process through DOL typically begins after one to two years of employment. Clarify this pathway during the offer stage, not after you've accepted.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Development Manager roles
Browsing general job boards makes it hard to filter for verified sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to surface Development Manager openings at Molex that are tied to confirmed sponsorship history, so you're applying where the pathway actually exists.

Find Development Manager at Molex JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Molex sponsor H-1B visas for Development Managers?
Yes, Molex sponsors H-1B visas for Development Manager roles. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation given its engineering and technical leadership requirements, which is the threshold USCIS uses for H-1B eligibility. If you're already on H-1B with another employer, Molex can file an H-1B transfer, letting you start work as soon as the transfer petition is received by USCIS.
How do I apply for Development Manager jobs at Molex?
Applications go through Molex's careers portal. Before applying, tailor your resume to reflect technical development experience relevant to connectivity or industrial product lines, since those are core to Molex's business. Migrate Mate lists verified Development Manager openings at Molex filtered for visa sponsorship, which helps you prioritize roles where sponsorship is already part of the hiring process.
Which visa types does Molex commonly use for Development Manager roles?
Molex sponsors a range of visa types for Development Manager positions, including H-1B, TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering roles), F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates, J-1 for training or exchange programs, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term sponsorship. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and where you are in your immigration timeline.
What qualifications does Molex expect for a Development Manager?
Molex typically looks for a bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, or a closely related technical field, combined with experience managing product development cycles from design through production. Leadership experience overseeing cross-functional teams is expected at the manager level. For H-1B purposes, your degree must align with the specific technical discipline the role requires, so a credential evaluation is advisable if your degree is from outside the U.S.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Molex Development Manager role?
Timeline depends on visa type. H-1B standard processing through USCIS takes three to six months, and the cap-subject lottery runs once annually with a registration window in March. TN status for Canadians can be obtained at the border in a single day. If Molex pursues a Green Card through PERM, DOL processing alone typically takes twelve to eighteen months before the I-140 petition stage begins.
