Align your credentials to U.S. PE pathways
Quanta hires for project-level structural responsibility, so document your engineering degree and any foreign licensure early. USCIS specialty occupation reviews look closely at whether your field of study directly matches the role's technical scope.
Target Quanta's utility-scale project divisions
Quanta's structural engineering openings cluster around transmission, substation, and renewable energy infrastructure work. Tailoring your application to these infrastructure types signals you understand the project environments where most of their structural roles sit.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active Quanta openings
Structural Project Engineer postings at Quanta move quickly across regions. Use Migrate Mate to filter for Quanta roles that explicitly list visa sponsorship, so you're applying to positions already confirmed for international candidates rather than guessing.
Prepare a project portfolio showing energy infrastructure work
Quanta's structural roles require demonstrating technical depth on utility or industrial projects. Compile drawings, calculations, or project summaries that reflect foundation design, steel structures, or transmission line support work before the technical interview stage.

Find Structural Project Engineer at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group sponsor H-1B visas for Structural Project Engineers?
Yes, Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group has sponsored H-1B visas for Structural Project Engineers. The H-1B is the most common employer-sponsored work visa for this role type because structural engineering clearly meets USCIS specialty occupation criteria. You'll need a qualifying engineering degree and a job offer in place before Quanta can initiate the petition process.
How do I apply for Structural Project Engineer jobs at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group?
You can find and apply for Structural Project Engineer openings at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles open to visa sponsorship. Quanta posts positions across multiple U.S. regions, so filtering by location and visa type helps you identify the most relevant openings before applying directly through their hiring process.
Which visa types does Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group support for Structural Project Engineers?
Quanta has supported H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for engineering roles including Structural Project Engineers. F-1 OPT is common for recent graduates entering directly, while the TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals whose structural engineering role falls under USMCA occupational categories. H-1B remains the primary long-term sponsored pathway.
What qualifications does Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group expect for Structural Project Engineers?
Quanta's Structural Project Engineer roles typically require a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering at minimum, with experience on utility, transmission, or industrial infrastructure projects. Familiarity with foundation design, steel or concrete structural systems, and relevant software such as STAAD or RISA is commonly expected. Progress toward a Professional Engineer license is often preferred for project-level roles.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Structural Project Engineer at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group?
For H-1B cap-subject petitions, USCIS registration opens in March and, if selected, employment typically starts October 1. Standard processing runs three to five months; premium processing reduces that to 15 business days. TN visas for Canadian nationals can be obtained at a port of entry the same day an offer is confirmed, making the timeline significantly shorter for eligible candidates.
