Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
H-1B eligibility for Sales Executive roles hinges on demonstrating a specialty occupation. A degree in life sciences, business, or healthcare administration strengthens your petition. Coursework or certifications in clinical diagnostics or laboratory services sharpens the connection further.
Target territories with active patient service expansion
Quest Diagnostics staffs sales teams by geography, focusing on regions where hospital systems and physician networks are growing. Prioritize open roles in markets where Quest is actively expanding its diagnostics footprint, as those positions are more likely to move quickly through sponsorship.
Understand how TN status fits healthcare sales
Canadian and Mexican nationals in sales roles tied to scientific or technical services can qualify under TN status without a lottery. If your role involves promoting laboratory or diagnostics solutions, confirm with your employer that the position maps to an eligible TN category before the offer stage.
Get your offer letter to reflect specialty occupation language
USCIS scrutinizes Sales Executive titles in H-1B petitions. Ask the recruiter to ensure the offer letter specifies degree requirements for the role and links your responsibilities to technical knowledge of clinical diagnostics, not generic sales duties. This detail affects petition outcomes.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open Sales Executive roles at Quest
Filtering by visa type before applying saves time. Search for Sales Executive openings at Quest Diagnostics on Migrate Mate to surface roles where sponsorship has been confirmed, so you're not guessing about eligibility during the interview process.
Factor PERM timing into your employment negotiations
Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 requires PERM labor certification from the DOL, which can take a year or more. If permanent residency is your goal, raise the topic during offer negotiation so both you and Quest can align timelines before your H-1B cap approaches.

Does Quest Diagnostics sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Executives?
Yes. Quest Diagnostics has an established pattern of H-1B sponsorship for Sales Executive roles, particularly where the position requires specialized knowledge of laboratory diagnostics or healthcare services. To qualify, your role will need to meet USCIS specialty occupation criteria, meaning a specific degree requirement tied to the technical nature of the work, not just general sales experience.
Which visa types are commonly used for Sales Executive roles at Quest Diagnostics?
H-1B is the most common nonimmigrant visa for Sales Executives at Quest, especially for candidates on F-1 OPT transitioning into full-time employment. TN status is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals if the role aligns with a qualifying professional category. For longer-term pathways, Quest also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for this function.
How do I apply for Sales Executive jobs at Quest Diagnostics?
You can browse open Sales Executive roles at Quest Diagnostics directly on Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. Apply through Quest's careers portal with a resume that highlights territory management, client acquisition in healthcare or diagnostics, and any relevant scientific or clinical background that supports a specialty occupation argument.
What qualifications and experience does Quest Diagnostics expect for Sales Executive roles?
Quest typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or a healthcare-related field, combined with experience selling to physician practices, hospital systems, or employer health programs. Familiarity with clinical laboratory services, diagnostic testing workflows, or managed care contracting gives your application a measurable advantage over generalist sales backgrounds.
How do I plan my timeline if I'm on F-1 OPT and targeting a Sales Executive role at Quest?
F-1 OPT gives you up to 12 months of work authorization, with a possible 24-month STEM extension if your degree qualifies. H-1B cap-subject petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start date, so you need your offer in place well before the filing window opens. Starting your job search at least six months before your OPT expires gives you realistic runway to complete the process without a gap in authorization.
