Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Professional Services Consultant Jobs at Sysco Jobs
Frame your credentials around food distribution workflows
Sysco's consulting work is anchored in supply chain and distribution operations, not generic IT delivery. Tailor your resume to show experience with ERP implementations, logistics optimization, or food service client engagements before you apply.
Target roles tied to enterprise system rollouts
Sysco's Professional Services Consultant openings cluster around large-scale technology and operations projects. Applications tied to active rollout cycles move faster through hiring and have stronger internal sponsorship support than standalone advisory roles.
Clarify TN eligibility for your specific consulting scope
Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for TN status in a consulting capacity, but the role description must align with an approved USMCA professional category. Review your job duties with a qualified immigration attorney before your offer letter is finalized.
Prepare for PERM timing if targeting permanent residence
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship requires a DOL PERM labor certification before USCIS filing. Sysco has sponsored these categories for professional roles, so ask your recruiter early whether the position is approved for permanent residence sponsorship to avoid surprises after onboarding.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Sysco openings by visa type
Sysco posts Professional Services Consultant roles across multiple locations with varying sponsorship eligibility. Use Migrate Mate to filter active Sysco openings by the visa categories relevant to your status so you're applying to positions that match your authorization pathway.

Find Professional Services Consultant at Sysco JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Sysco sponsor H-1B visas for Professional Services Consultants?
Sysco's primary sponsorship pathways for Professional Services Consultant roles are EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN. H-1B sponsorship is not prominently documented for this function at Sysco. If H-1B is your target status, confirm directly with the recruiter whether the specific role and business unit supports that petition before progressing through the interview process.
How do I apply for Professional Services Consultant jobs at Sysco?
Applications go through Sysco's careers portal at sysco.com. Professional Services Consultant roles are listed under technology and operations functions. Browse open positions on Migrate Mate to filter by visa sponsorship eligibility and identify which Sysco locations and business units are actively hiring for this role. Tailor your application to highlight food distribution, ERP, or supply chain consulting experience.
Which visa types are commonly used for Professional Services Consultant roles at Sysco?
Sysco has sponsored Professional Services Consultants through F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, EB-2, and EB-3 pathways. F-1 OPT and CPT are most relevant for recent graduates entering the role early in their careers. TN is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose consulting duties align with an approved USMCA category. EB-2 and EB-3 apply for candidates pursuing permanent residence.
What qualifications does Sysco expect for Professional Services Consultant roles?
Sysco typically looks for a bachelor's degree in business, information systems, supply chain, or a related field. Practical experience with enterprise platforms, client-facing delivery, or food service and distribution operations strengthens your candidacy significantly. For specialty occupation visa categories, your degree field must align directly with the consulting scope of the role, so a generalist background without field relevance may complicate sponsorship.
How do I plan my timeline around Sysco's visa sponsorship process?
If you're on F-1 OPT, build in lead time between your offer acceptance and start date to complete E-Verify verification. TN status can be obtained at the port of entry but requires a complete job offer letter and supporting documentation. EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship involves a DOL PERM process that runs many months before USCIS sees the petition, so raise this with your Sysco recruiter as early as possible in the offer stage.
