INTRODUCTION
The Head Coach of the Carolina Dance Team, reporting to the Associate Athletics Director of Marketing, will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations, performance preparation and overall development of the dance team. Will ensure that the team maintains a high level of excellence in technique, performance and community engagement, while also overseeing the administration, operational and recruitment aspects of the program. The role requires a dynamic leader who is passionate about dance and fostering a positive team culture.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 5 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education and/or experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Dance, Sports Management, or Education.
Extensive experience in collegiate-level coaching, choreography and team management.
