Texas-based employers, particularly in Austin's tech corridor and Dallas's corporate sector, frequently value certifications from platforms like HubSpot Academy or Google as practical signals of competence.
How much do content marketing specialists make in Texas?
Content marketing specialists in Texas earn a median of about $72,520 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $37,640 for the lowest 10% to over $135,710 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire content marketing specialists in Texas?

Strategy, SEO writing, and email marketing tasks are the most commonly performed fully remote.
How can I get hired as a content marketing specialist in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying for a content coordinator or marketing coordinator role at a mid-size Texas company while building a personal portfolio of writing samples, social campaigns, or SEO projects. Large Texas employers like Dell Technologies and H-E-B run rotational marketing programs and college hiring initiatives that accept recent graduates. Lateral moves from journalism, copywriting, or social media management are common. A HubSpot Content Marketing certification adds a credible, low-cost credential that Texas hiring managers recognize.
