How You’ll Make An Impact:
The Coordinator, Content Marketing & Partnerships, Sports position will support the sports vertical of SiriusXM's content marketing team in the development of marketing materials and initiatives designed to increase consumer awareness of SiriusXM's unparalleled sports content. The position requires an efficient, well-organized individual with excellent written and oral communication skills and strong attention to detail. This role works under the direction of more experienced marketing team members and applies established processes and guidelines to assigned work.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with talent/partner approval for marketing materials across lines of business.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to discuss larger scale projects that involve talent imagery, communicating established placement requirements and restrictions at the forefront of material design and escalating exceptions to senior team members.
- Assist with marketing initiatives and creative briefs for specialty programming, show and channel launches, events, interviews, promotional assets, graphics, and more.
- Assist with creative asset development - project management, briefs, creative feedback, etc.
- Work cross-functionally across internal departments to track & confirm marketing support for initiatives, including CRM, App, PR, Social, Performance, Creative, Events, Sweeps, Email, Channel Marketing, OEM, Sales, Brand, and Digital.
- Brainstorm and pitch creative marketing ideas, content, and promotional opportunities for review and approval by senior team members.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners. Support routine communication and coordination of marketing efforts and escalate complex partner matters as appropriate.
- Assist with regular reporting and insights, collecting, organizing, and summarizing established metrics to highlight the impact of marketing activities.
- Help track the status of fulfillment for marketing contractual obligations for partners.
- Assist with the tracking & reporting of performance metrics across marketing placements & listening data.
- Stay current on industry trends across the sports landscape - shifts in audio content, podcasting, etc.
- Complete assigned work within established priorities, timelines, and procedures, seeking guidance when requirements or priorities are unclear.
What You’ll Need
- Strong familiarity with SiriusXM's sports content and talent.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to communicate clearly and credibly to colleagues across the organization.
- Fast learner, self-motivated and resourceful.
- Both a proactive team player and independent worker.
- Flexible and maintains positive attitude when under pressure and deadlines.
- Knowledge/interest in sports.
- Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Proficient with Google Docs.
- Ability to follow established processes, incorporate feedback, and escalate issues that require broader judgment or approval.
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $51,000 and $56,200 and will depend on
your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
