What You'll Do
As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing new products from concept through production. You’ll work alongside talented engineers and cross-functional teams to design, test, troubleshoot, and implement sophisticated electrical and motion-control systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead electrical and controls architecture for new products, from circuit-level design through system integration and wiring.
- Design and integrate stepper- and servo-based motion control systems, including motors, encoders, controllers, motor drives, power supplies, and cabling.
- Develop and work with software using C, C++, Python, MATLAB, and PLC logic.
- Troubleshoot complex systems using oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, LabVIEW/data acquisition systems, and other diagnostic tools.
- Identify root causes and develop effective, lasting technical solutions.
- Develop test equipment, procedures, requirements, and processes for production and quality control.
- Support product verification, validation, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Develop and document assembly and testing procedures.
- Work with outside testing laboratories to obtain and maintain product certifications.
- Train and support assembly personnel.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Support, Sales, and Field Service.
- Provide technical support for customer-related issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and help drive projects to completion on schedule.

You bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 6–8 years of directly relevant experience. Additional experience may substitute for education.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering is strongly preferred.
- Experience designing and implementing stepper and servo motion-control systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, circuit design, simulation, controls, software integration, and production standards.
- Experience with C, C++, Python, MATLAB, and/or PLC programming.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.

- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- An entrepreneurial, ownership-oriented mindset and the ability to take projects from concept to completion.
