Position Requirements
- Lead and independently conduct research as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Operate and maintain advanced lab reactors (EasyMax) and process analytical tools (IR, Raman, FBRM, ReactIR, Easyviewer).
- Efficiently process and report experimental data, including mass/energy balances, reaction kinetics, and crystallization.
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets, recognize unexpected results, and make recommendations.
- Author technical reports and present findings internally and externally.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills, including timeline and budget awareness.
- Uphold Nalas Quality culture, ensuring services meet or exceed customer needs.
- Maintain laboratory safety, including hazardous duty protocols and waste management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (2+ years experience) or MS/PhD in Chemical Engineering.
- Proficiency with MT suite hardware/software and data analysis tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SciFinder).
- Familiarity with modeling software (Aspen, Dynochem, COMSOL, MATLAB, DesignExpert) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Lab Proficiency
- Experienced in CRO/Pharma environments.

Incumbent may be responsible for hazardous and universal waste collection, consolidation, segregation, and proper storage and labeling. Incumbent may be responsible for performing emergency response activities, emergency response clean-up, hazardous waste clean-up, and the handling of hazardous waste materials when training is provided.
Pay: $74,300.00 - $106,800.00 per year
