Position Overview::The Senior Director of Engineering is a critical leader within Argon Medical, responsible for defining and executing the global engineering strategy across our medical device manufacturing operations. - Architect and implement long-term engineering roadmaps aligned with business growth and innovation strategies.
- Lead large-scale process optimization, automation, and cost-reduction initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Champion the adoption of advanced technologies, smart manufacturing, and digital transformation.
- Develop and standardize world-class manufacturing processes that drive quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Build and lead high-performing, multidisciplinary engineering teams focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations to ensure engineering excellence from concept to commercialization.
- Establish and report on key engineering performance metrics tied to product quality, time-to-market, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure engineering programs comply with FDA, ISO, and other global regulatory standards.
- Influence capital investments and infrastructure decisions to support long-term manufacturing strategy.
- Serve as a technical advisor to senior executives and contribute to strategic planning and organizational development.
Supervisory responsibilities
- Leads a multi-site team of engineers and technical professionals.
- Responsible for departmental structure, hiring, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
