Tips for Your Enterprise Sales Executive Job Search
Quantify pipeline and quota attainment clearly
Enterprise sales hiring managers want to see specific quota numbers and win rates on your resume. State your annual quota, your attainment percentage, and average deal size so reviewers can immediately gauge your tier of selling experience.
Tailor your resume to the sales cycle length
A six-month enterprise deal cycle looks very different from an eighteen-month one. Match your resume's language to the cycle length in the job description, highlighting multi-threaded stakeholder management when the role involves long, complex pursuits.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists enterprise sales executive openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Filter by your CRM and sales methodology
Many enterprise roles require Salesforce proficiency and familiarity with MEDDIC, Challenger, or similar frameworks. Search for openings that match the methodology you've used, because hiring managers favor candidates who won't need to unlearn their process.
Prepare a deal story for every interview stage
Enterprise sales interviews almost always include a detailed deal review. Prepare two or three stories covering a competitive displacement, a stalled deal you revived, and a loss you learned from so you're ready for any direction the conversation takes.
Negotiate territory and ramp before you sign
Before accepting an offer, clarify your assigned territory, whether accounts are greenfield or existing, and the length of your ramp period. These factors affect your realistic first-year earnings more than base salary alone.
Enterprise Sales Executive Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies are hiring the most enterprise sales executives?
The companies hiring the most enterprise sales executives right now include T-Mobile, CVS Health, and iHeartMedia, with the largest share of openings in California, New York, and Texas, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Technology, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure companies consistently account for the highest volume of enterprise sales executive openings.
How many enterprise sales executive jobs are remote?
About 41% of enterprise sales executive openings are fully remote or hybrid as of June 2026, making it one of the more location-flexible roles at the senior level. Strategic account and named-account positions tend to offer the most remote flexibility, while territory-based roles often still require regional travel.
How do you become an enterprise sales executive?
Most enterprise sales executives progress from inside sales or business development roles into mid-market account executive positions, then move upmarket as they close larger, more complex deals. Building experience managing multi-stakeholder cycles, learning an enterprise sales methodology like MEDDIC, and consistently exceeding quota at each level are the clearest steps toward an enterprise-level role.
Can you get hired as an enterprise sales executive with limited experience?
Breaking into enterprise sales without a long closing record is difficult, but not impossible. The most practical path is moving from a strong mid-market account executive role after demonstrating you can manage complex deals, multiple decision-makers, and longer sales cycles. Some companies also hire exceptional SDR managers or solution engineers who can show commercial instincts alongside technical depth.
What does the enterprise sales executive interview process look like?
Enterprise sales interviews typically run three to five rounds, starting with a recruiter screen followed by a hiring manager conversation focused on your deal history and quota attainment. Later rounds usually include a detailed deal review where you walk through a major win or loss, a presentation to a panel, and a final conversation with sales leadership or a C-suite stakeholder before an offer.
Where can I find and apply to enterprise sales executive jobs?
You can find and apply to enterprise sales executive jobs on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from across the United States. Find the roles that fit your experience, territory preference, and industry focus, then apply directly to each listing from the page.
