Enterprise Sales Manager Jobs in Kansas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a enterprise sales manager in Kansas?
Most enterprise sales managers in Kansas reach the role through a combination of a bachelor's degree in business or a related field and several years of progressively senior B2B sales experience. Kansas does not require a state-issued license to work as an enterprise sales manager. Employers in Wichita and the Kansas City metro typically promote from proven individual-contributor roles, so building a strong record in account executive or regional sales positions at Kansas-based manufacturers, tech firms, or logistics companies is the most direct path.
How much do enterprise sales managers make in Kansas?
Enterprise sales managers in Kansas earn a median of about $159,990 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $91,530 for the lowest 10% to over $249,990 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire enterprise sales managers in Kansas?
Companies currently hiring enterprise sales managers in Kansas include SPX Technologies, The University of Kansas Health System, and Performance Contracting, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Kansas's concentration of aerospace, manufacturing, and enterprise software firms means demand for this role is spread across both legacy industrial companies and growing technology operations in the Wichita and Kansas City corridors.
Which Kansas cities have the most enterprise sales manager jobs?
Overland Park, Wichita, and Olathe lead Kansas for enterprise sales manager openings. Wichita drives volume through its aerospace and manufacturing base, while Overland Park and Kansas City attract enterprise software and logistics employers who maintain regional headquarters or major commercial offices there, making those metros natural anchors for senior sales leadership hiring.
Are there remote enterprise sales manager jobs in Kansas?
Yes, and more than most fields. Enterprise sales management is inherently relationship-driven but largely office-independent, making remote and hybrid arrangements common across the industry. About 39% of enterprise sales manager openings tied to Kansas are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting broad employer acceptance of flexible work in this role. Strategic planning, pipeline management, and team coaching are the functions most often performed remotely, while major client meetings and onsite presentations typically require in-person attendance.
How can I get hired as a enterprise sales manager in Kansas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into an account executive or inside sales role at a mid-size Kansas employer and building a record of closing enterprise deals before stepping into management. Companies in Wichita's aerospace supply chain and Overland Park's technology corridor regularly hire sales development representatives and junior account managers as feeders for senior roles. Earning a Salesforce certification or completing a sales leadership program strengthens a candidacy, and lateral moves from sales operations or customer success positions at the same employer are a common internal route into a first management title.
Where can I find and apply to enterprise sales manager jobs in Kansas?
You can find and apply to enterprise sales manager jobs in Kansas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Kansas openings from employers across Wichita, Overland Park, Kansas City, and beyond. Search the available roles, find the ones that fit your background and target industry, and apply directly to each opening without any additional steps.
