The purpose of this position is to provide senior-level financial administration and leadership for Rock Region METRO, with executive oversight of the Authority's grants and procurement programs. Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the position leads procurement and contracting activities, provides high-level oversight of federal, state, and local grants, supports capital and financial planning, strengthens internal controls and compliance, and performs major financial, policy, and cross-departmental initiatives. The position serves as a senior resource to the Chief Financial Officer and may act on the CFO's behalf as assigned. • Broad, in-depth knowledge of the principles and practices of finance.
• METRO's policies, procedures, and functions.
