Responsibilities
- Review treatment plans, verify dental insurance benefits, and explain coverage and patient financial responsibilities in clear, approachable language.
- Prepare, submit, and track healthcare claims; review denials and coordinate corrections or appeals using billing software and electronic records.
- Maintain accurate medical records and support medical billing, medical collection, and account follow-up in line with office procedures.
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to keep treatment, insurance, and patient information current.
- Your impact: Clear coverage explanations and timely claim follow-up help patients make informed care decisions and help the dental team keep treatment moving.
Experience
- Dental office experience, customer service skills, dental insurance knowledge, and familiarity with dental terminology are required.
- Experience with Dentrix
- Accounts receivable experience and followup is required
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
