Hotel Houseman & Laundry Attendant
The Fairfield Inn & Suites is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our team. This role will include working two days in the laundry and two days as a houseman, helping maintain a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for our guests.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Job Description:
When working a houseman you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all corridors and public areas. Will also assist housekeepers in guest rooms when needed, in accordance with all housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Help maintain the following areas at all times: hotel lobby, restrooms, parking lot, elevator and tracks, stairwells, building entrances and hallways.
- Responsible for helping room attendants by emptying trash and soiled linen from housekeeping cart
- Deep cleaning of assigned areas of the hotel including the shampooing of rooms and public areas, window washing, hotel light fixtures, and guest elevators.
- Vacuum guest hallways and dust daily.
- Clean and sanitize public areas of the hotel.
- Respond and assists Front Desk with any guest requests in a timely manner.
When working in the Laundry Department, you will be responsible for washing, drying, folding, and organizing hotel linens and towels. You will maintain a clean and organized laundry area while ensuring all linens are fresh, clean, and ready for guest use. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
