Insurance Billing & AR Coordinator
We're Growing!
Salmon Creek Dental is seeking an organized, detail-oriented team member to join our front office in a hybrid role combining dental insurance billing, and accounts receivable (AR) management and patient coordination. This is an in-person position.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare, batch, and submit dental insurance claims with proper documentation and attachments.
- Follow up on unpaid claims at 30, 60, and 90 days and submit appeals as needed.
- Post insurance payments and verify EFTs through the Lassie portal.
- Send patient statements, follow up on outstanding balances, and prepare eligible accounts for collections.
- Maintain accurate account records and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Support the daily front office operations, patient scheduling, and phone calls.
Schedule: To start, 2 dedicated days per week focused on insurance billing and AR, with remaining time dedicated to front office responsibilities. This will transition into 4-5 dedicated days where supporting the front will be on an as-needed basis only.
Firm Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year dental front office or insurance billing experience is required.
- Knowledge of dental insurance claims, payment posting, and AR follow-up.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional communication.
- Open Dental experience is a must.
