JOB SUMMARY:
The Grizzly Staff Accountant reports with the Grizzly BU Controller and supports Grizzly staff with accounting and finance needs. Additionally, the Grizzly Staff Accountant provides added support to the BNB Controllers group.
SALARY RANGE: $40.87 - $50.48 hourly, $85,000 - $105,000 annually (companywide)

- A 401(k) savings plan under which BNB matches the first 3 percent of your deferral with a 100% match and the next two percent with a 50% match for a total matching contribution of 4% of your pay. You are immediately 100% vested in all contributions (including BNB match). We provide both traditional (pre-tax) and Roth (post-tax) contribution options.
- We are proud to be an employee-owned company. This means you get an ownership stake in BNB through a benefit called an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). It's 100% company-funded and is invested in BNBuilders stock. You can participate in this long-term plan after you complete 1 year of service (with at least 1,000 hours).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform various reconciliations for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Intercompany, Bank Accounts, Inventory, Prepaids and other general ledger accounts.
- Review and analyze inventory and equipment transactions to ensure accurate classification and timely reporting.
- Develop Power BI reports to support Accounting and Operations activities.
- Actively participate in system migration and integration efforts.
- Reconcile, process, and report monthly/quarterly/annual sales and business taxes.
- Submit annual property tax affidavits to local jurisdictions on a timely basis.
- Serve as back up to weekly billing process.
- Maintain accurate addition/disposal records of capitalized assets/liabilities and related depreciation/amortization, including calculating and posting any gains/losses upon disposal.
- Assist BNB Accounts Payable in timely vendor payment and dispute resolution.
- Compile periodic reports for numerous business units throughout Grizzly and BNB.
- Assist Grizzly and BNB Controllers with monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and forecasting.
- Assist with timely compilation of audit and tax related documents as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Three or more years of Accounting experience. Inventory or Construction industry experience is a plus.
- An understanding of US GAAP. CPA certification a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. General knowledge of Power BI.
- ERP systems experience a plus.
- An understanding that producing deliverables that are accurate, professional in appearance, and timely is critical for success.
- An ability to work with and solicit cooperation from individuals in a variety of roles.
- Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, which includes simultaneously handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A respect for confidential data and an ability to maintain that confidentiality.
- A sense of confidence in oneself, curiosity to learn and grow your understanding of our industry, and the willingness to advocate for improvements.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, communicate, reach and manipulate objects, tools or controls. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines.
