SALARY RANGE

$68,000-$90,000

LOCATION

Hybrid- Cincinnati, OH

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and timely completion of monthly close activities. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience working with accounting systems, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.

• Prepare and maintain journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records
• Assist with revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting
• Support financial audits and compliance reporting requirements
• Help ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, HR, and product teams
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting initiatives
• Contribute to process improvements and accounting automation efforts

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a technology or healthcare environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Experience with ERP/accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
