Marketing Associate Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing associate in Georgia?
Most Georgia employers hire marketing associates with a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. No state-issued license is required for the role. Candidates who build a portfolio of campaign work, earn platform certifications such as Google Analytics or HubSpot certifications, and gain experience through internships with Georgia companies or university programs at institutions like Georgia State or UGA are consistently more competitive in the Atlanta and Savannah markets.
Which companies hire marketing associates in Georgia?
Georgia marketing associate roles are posted by SIGVARIS, B4M AUTOS, and Microcopy and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's density of corporate headquarters, particularly in the Atlanta metro, means a wide range of industries from financial services and logistics to healthcare and consumer brands are hiring regularly.
Which Georgia cities have the most marketing associate jobs?
Atlanta, Augusta, and Kennesaw have the most marketing associate openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates the distribution because of its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, major agencies, and technology firms, while Savannah and Augusta generate demand through their growing healthcare systems, consumer goods manufacturers, and port-linked logistics operations that all require marketing support.
Are there remote marketing associate jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 33% of marketing associate openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of the work involves digital tools, content platforms, and campaign management software that travel well. The most remote-friendly sub-areas are content creation, email marketing, and paid digital campaign coordination, while event marketing and field roles remain predominantly on-site.
How can I get hired as a marketing associate in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a marketing internship or coordinator role at a Georgia-based company while completing or shortly after finishing a degree. Large Atlanta employers including Honeywell, NCR Atleos, and major agency groups run rotational or associate programs that accept new graduates. Adjacent roles like marketing assistant, social media coordinator, or sales support associate are common lateral moves. A portfolio of real campaign work, even from class projects or freelance clients, and a HubSpot or Google Analytics certification give candidates a clear edge.
Where can I find and apply to marketing associate jobs in Georgia?
