Inside Sales Specialist Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become an inside sales specialist in Georgia?
Inside sales specialist roles in Georgia do not require a state-issued license, so the path centers on education and demonstrated sales skills. Most Georgia employers expect at least a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications, though some accept an associate degree paired with relevant experience. Building familiarity with CRM tools, completing sales methodology training such as SPIN or Challenger, and starting in a sales development representative role at a Georgia technology or logistics company are the most direct ways to break in.
How much do inside sales specialists make in Georgia?
Inside sales specialists in Georgia earn a median of about $75,280 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $36,490 for the lowest 10% to over $158,520 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire inside sales specialists in Georgia?
Employers hiring inside sales specialists in Georgia right now include NCR, EIS legacy, and Morley medical, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's concentration of technology companies in Alpharetta and major corporate headquarters in Atlanta means inside sales teams here tend to support SaaS, financial services, and supply chain products.
Which Georgia cities have the most inside sales specialist jobs?
Atlanta, Duluth, and Eatonton have the most inside sales specialist openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates because it anchors the state's technology corridor and serves as a regional headquarters for major financial services and logistics firms, while Alpharetta's dense cluster of software companies and Savannah's expanding port-driven logistics sector generate consistent demand outside the core metro.
Are there remote inside sales specialist jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields, because inside sales work is fundamentally phone- and screen-based and does not require physical presence. About 0% of inside sales specialist openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how well the role translates to distributed teams. Outbound prospecting and account management tasks are the functions most commonly performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as an inside sales specialist in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a sales development representative role at one of Atlanta's many SaaS or technology companies, where structured onboarding and quota ramp periods are designed for candidates without prior sales experience. Georgia employers such as NCR Voyix and Cox Enterprises run associate sales programs that hire new graduates directly. Candidates coming from customer service, retail management, or hospitality roles are frequently considered for these openings, and completing a recognized sales certification, such as Salesforce's free Trailhead modules or a HubSpot Sales Software certificate, gives applications a measurable edge.
Where can I find and apply to inside sales specialist jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to inside sales specialist jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings updated regularly. Search the listings to see roles that match your experience level and location preference, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
